TMS320F28377S: Safety Feature ROM1 from Functional Safety Manual

Part Number: TMS320F28377S
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Tool/software:

Hi TI support team,

the Functional Safety Manual for the TMS320F2837xS requires for the ROM a VCU CRC Ceck of Static Memory Contents (see Unique Identifier ROM1).

I assume this refers to the Boot ROM sector in the SRAM that starts at address 0x003F 8000.

  1. Which data are stored in the Boot ROM?
  2. How to calculate the expected CRC of the data in the Boot ROM?

Thanks for help.
