TMS320F28388D: Loading Program to Daughter Card

Hi Surendra,

Do you have any initialized section  mapped to address 0x0 in your linker command file?  

There should not be any such section in the flash based linker command file.  However, the standalone verification error shows that you have something mapped at that location.

I'm not completely sure, I'm usually just sent the .out files and then I load them on the daughter card. I'll check with some of the firmware engineers and ask them as well.

Hi,

So I was able to get the program to run after using Uniflash but only when I have the box checked to "Run target after Program Load/Flash Operation". If I power cycle the board then the program wont load on boot up. I checked the user manual and I think I have all the switches (S2) in the correct positions (Left, Left) to boot from Flash/USB but I still dont get the program to run from power up. Are there any suggestions?

I suggest you to get the linker command file and inspect it to see if anything is mapped at that address.  That might be the reason for application not booting (since you already checked the boot pin config and is correct).
