Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDSCNCD2800157, SYSCONFIG

I'm using SysConfig to configure an F28000157 on a TMDSCNCD2800157 control card. I initially went to the "Reserve Peripherals" tab and assigned all of the required peripherals to various pins. Then I went to the "Software" tab, expecting to be able to set up each peripheral as required, GPIO pin directions for example. But the "Software" tab seems to have no knowledge of the assignments made in the "Reserve Peripherals" tab. Any attempts to select the peripherals in both tabs results in a conflict. How is this supposed to work, or are these tabs mutually exclusive?
