TMS320F280039C: Suggestion on current sensing at low load

Part Number: TMS320F280039C
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP23338

Tool/software:

Hi Champ,

I am asking for my customer.

They are using AMC + SDFM solution for current sensing based on PMP23338.

Due to Sinc filter is a moving average filter, customer decides to convert the data once it receives the synchronized signal from SDSYNC event, and the SDSYNC event is configured to EPWMx_SOCy which SOCy is set at the middle of switching PWM cycle.

We are encountering a scenario that at light load, the PWM duty is nearly small, and we see noise is coupling here and covering the entire PWM cycle due to MOS turning on/off immediately.

What is the suggestion here at light load to remove noises from affecting current loop control ?

Thanks for the support.

Regards,

Johnny
