TMS320F28P650DH: Use ESC_PHY_CLK output as clock source for EtherCAT PHY

Dear champs,

I ask this for customer.

In our LaunchPad design, we use external oscillator and clock buffer in the clock design of C2000 and PHY.
In order to save costs, customer wants to use a external crystal, and then use C2000's GPIO48 as the clock input of PHY, and then not use a clock buffer. They would like to confirm whether this design method is feasible? If not, what are the risk? Thank you!
