On the TMS320F28384D DSP processor, what is the short-circuit load current of the three DAC outputs, and are they protected from damage under short-circuit loading?

Bob,

As you can see in datasheet the minimum load is 5kohm, and we don't provide the short-circuit current value in datasheet. It should be noted that the device will be dissipating more power in short-circuit condition, which will cause the device to heat up.

I will ask our design team and update you.

we don't document the short-circuit current value, but the max value of short-circuit current is 100mA.
