Dear Help desk,

 

I check on the datasheet page 78 of 127 the operation temperature of the CPU around -40°C-125°C depend on package.

 

My customer currently project in normal ambient temperature 25°C and it is working at around 80°C. But for the final product the normal temperature is at 45°C, 20°C higher than prototype build condition, so the correlation of the temperature will be 100°C, it is normal? Do you have any suggestion?  May I know will it effect to CPU life period?

    Can you please clarify your question to better help you.

     

    As the datasheet suggests, the devices (with correct packages) are completely functional from -40'C to 125'C. Based on temperature you mentioned, I don't see any issues.

    Dear Manoj,

    If you refer to datasheet, there have a specific temperature for each function we apply to the MCU.

    If we sum all function together and check the temperature totally different than a spec, our temperature higher than state in the datasheet. in fact if at ambient temperature 25°C we already have 80°C for MCU.

    My Customer is doing a Solar microinverter project, the temperature of the MCU will be very high if it is stay at the roof top?

    Can you pls advise base on our customer concern?

    When you run your application code at 25'C how did you folks find out that the MCU is already at 80'C?
