Hello,

I was searching for the part number of the 2 dual-row, female card connectors used for the 180-pin controlCARD conenction in this part: TMDSADAP180TO100 Interface adapter | TI.com

I am working on an adapter PCB card, and these two connectors would work well, but they are proving diffcult to find.

For anyone else looking, here are the part numbers: HSEC8-130-01-L-RA and HSEC8-160-01-L-RA-BL

The pin-pin distance from 119 (rightmost HSEC8-160 pin) to pin 121 (leftmost HSEC8-130 pin) is 21mm.

Quick follow-up question: can the controlCARD be mounted over a PCB with these connectors? I know they are intended to be edge connectors, but adding PCB underneath the controlCARD would introduce some rigidity to the design. Is there enough clearance for this?

Hi William,

If you want to design a baseboard PCB that accepts the controlCARD, then consider the connectors used in https://www.ti.com/tool/TMDSHSECDOCK. In this case the controlCARD will insert vertically into the baseboard.
