TMS320F280039C: Characteristics over temperature range

Part Number: TMS320F280039C

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

I may be missing this information from my quick pass through the datasheet--please advise if so.

Is there any figure that exists that provides information about the accuracy of the ADCs over a temperature range?

Also, is there info on how much variance exists on the reference voltage at the ADC's over temperature? Are there internal resistances on the way from the reference voltage supply pin to the internal ADC's? If there is a table or info on the noise for this reference, please let me know!

For reference, my customer is using the -PZ variant of the part.

Best regards,

-RT

  • Hi RT,

We test all of our ADCs across temperature. When using an external voltage reference, the ADC's performance should be very stable over the specified operating temperature range and match the data sheet specifications. Any variation you see would be mostly attributable to external components. With the internal reference, there will be some variation in gain error across temperature, but the total variation should be within the data sheet specs.

    Best Regards,
    Allison
