From the TMS320F28P650 data sheet the best fit for our application is the single core part

TMS320F28P650SK6

However the data sheet states "Preview information (not Production Data)." for each of the single core devices.

a) when will the single core devices be available to order?

b) what device from the TMS320F28P650 offering is expected to have the longest lifetime?

Hi Richard,

Single core parts are already released to production and can be ordered at ti.com. The latest datasheet in ti.com would have the single core devices in production state.

Historically, parts that we have released in C2000 about 15 years ago are still available to order, to give you a perspective.

The latest data sheet SPRSP69B – REVISED NOVEMBER 2023 states "Preview information (not Production Data)." for each of the single core devices.

Please send me the link, or the reference, of the data sheet to which you refer.

Hi Richard,

The latest datasheet is not yet in ti.com. It will be updated around mid August and all part numbers will be marked active, and yes all C2000 parts are still available to order.
