TMS320F28377D: Around when is CCS-THEIA to be officially transitioned to a production development tool for C2000 devices?

Hi,

In the release notes of CCS-THEIA, it states 'Evaluation support for C2000 devices is included.' instead of 'Recommended for production development.' This seems to indicate that it is not recommended for developing C2000 devices. Around when is CCS-THEIA to be officially transitioned to a production development tool for C2000 devices? (I'm anticipating that future updates of CCS will be discontinued and it will be transitioned to CCS-THEIA.)

    CCS Theia 1.5.0 is when we will recommend CCS Theia as the production environment for C2000.

    That is correct. The upcoming CCS 12.8.0 release will be the last CCS version based off Eclipse. The next major release of CCS after that will be Theia based. Hence, CCS Theia 1.5.0 is the last version of the separate "CCS Theia" line (and subsequent Theia based releases will be rolled into the main CCS line).
