LAUNCHXL-F28P55X: Understanding the support of Fast Integer Division for newer TI processors

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28P55X
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Tool/software:

Hi,

I am trying to understand the supported processors for Fast integer division (FASTINTDIV). If I look at this link https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/node?node=A__AGSsyMtMXB.5Z71OGBtdrg__C2000WARE__1kRFgrO__LATEST I see that examples are available only for F2838x/003x/002x and 0013x but if I look at this link https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spru566s/spru566s.pdf?ts=1722574651513 this says this support is available only with F28003x/002x/38x/P6x as per the table Table 3-2. Floating-Point Unit (FPU) Type Description.

At this point I am confused about the support of FASTINTDIV with F280013x and F28P55x. Is this support available for these processors? When I try to enable this for F28P55x I faced problems with clocking as the clocking configuration was incorrect.

Thanks,

Aditya
