TMS320F28379D: Can we use same CAN module in both cores of dual core device

Hi Team,

Can I use the same CAN module say CAN B in both cores CPU1 and CPU2 to transmit and receive data with different mailbox and identifiers?

Currently when I do this, CPU2 gets stuck in CAN_initRAM() function.
