Hi,

I have a tool that has STM32F104 MCU for flash programming. We will flash programming a card have TMS320F280013 MCU with this tool. I guess we need to use Flash API and we tried to implement in IAR Embedded Workbench.How can I do implemention of COFF lib. for flash API? what do we need to change in linker script and startup file to run Flash API on RAM ?

Hi ,

You can refer Flash API usage example "flashapi_ex1_programming" in C2000ware located at "<C2000ware Install path>\driverlib\f280013x\examples\flash"

we have this example buıt ı dont know how to run API on RAM and how to configure the linker file in the IAR embedded workbench IDE

Hi Burak

You need to switch to RAM based linker file as per your device like below or you can take it from "<C2000ware_install path>\device_support\f280013x\common\cmd". Modify it as per your requirement.

Also you need to rebuild driverlib in coff format. The library in C2000ware is in EABI format, driverlib code is at "<C2000ware_install path>\driverlib\f280013x\driverlib\ccs"

how can we confirm that you are able to load a simple program to the RAM of the C2000 device via the JTAG connection that you are mimicking from the STM32 device?
