Instruction - number of cycles

Hi!

Can somebody tell me where I can find a document regarding the duration of each instruction?

I found one for the CLA, for every assembly instruction it's mentioned how many cycles are needed. Is there something like this for instructions written in C? I suppose CLA is faster, being an accelerator...

Hi Monica,

C-functions are not documented regarding cycle count. the only functions that are documented for cycle count are the assembly functions. You will find them documented in document spru430.pdf chapter 6.

I found that, I wanted to get a feeling about the ones from C too.I have now idea if they are 3 times slower or 10 times :)
