Hello Team,

I want to execute a Power-On Self Test (POST) on the TMS320F28388D and read the status of the POST.

I don't want to include any additional features of the DCSM.

Could you please share any references for the configuration of the POST?

For MPOST(Memory POST) please refer to page 730-731 in the TRM https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spruii0f/spruii0f.pdf as well as this app note https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/spraci7 on how to configure for MPOST run at power up. There is requirement to program the Z1GPREG2 register in the OTP that is detailed here.

Note this will only run on a power on reset event and not from soft reset. Upon completion there will be pass/fail signature at address 0x0008 in the RAM that can be read by the CPU.
