Hello, Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Currently we are using the F28335 Control Card + The Peripheral Explorer using CCS 4.1 running on Windows XP and the onboard USB JTAG Emulator.
When using the control card + the peripheral explorer to spin 2 motors, no issues are observed.
However, when needing to take the F28335 Control Card and placing it into the TMDS2MTRPFCKIT (instead of using the we get an intermetient error.
"C28xx: Error connecting to the target: Error 0x80000240/-151 Fatal Error during: Initialization, OCS
Here's a post that is very similiar: http://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/tms320c2000_32-bit_real-time_mcus/f/171/p/106841/376718.aspx#376718
My question:
Is there perhaps a step that we are missing to change the control card from the F28035 to the F28335?
The suggestion in the linked post is that there may be too much noise and we would need to isolate. Is there any isolation suggestions if we still would like to use the USB JTAG/Emulation? If not, would the suggestion be to bypass the USB/JTAG and instead use the XDS100 + the isolation http://www.blackhawkdsp.com/products/Isolation.aspx?
