PLACEMENT ERROR for DSP 28035

Hi everyone,

I'm trying out a PFC algorithm on TI DSP 28035 with USB emulator. CCS v4 is giving me the following error.

"../28035_RAM_lnk.cmd", line 123: error: placement fails for object "IQmath",

size 0xb6 (page 0). Available ranges:

RAML0L1 size: 0xc00 unused: 0xb4 max hole: 0xb4

warning: entry-point symbol other than "_c_int00" specified: "code_start"

error: errors encountered during linking; "TEST1.out" not built

I am getting the same error in CCS v3.3 on a TMS320F28335

"C:\\tidcs\\c28\\DSP2833x\\v120\\DSP2833x_common\\cmd\\28335_RAM_lnk.cmd", line 135: error:

Hi Jej / Vijay,

You need to change your linker command file. IQmath object needs 0xb6 bytes of free RAM space but the left free space in your RAM block is only 0xb4.

Thank you very much. I have modified the RAM space in Linker CMD file and now my code is up and running!!
