TMS320F28034: AQCSFRC shadow mode effect timing.

Part Number: TMS320F28034

Tool/software:

Hi experts,

My customer is using two AQ, AQCSFRC (shadow to active when CTR=0) set high and CTR=0 set low.

These two AQ event occurs at the same time and the TRM says:

"The general rule is events occurring later in time have a higher priority and software forced events always have the highest priority"

does it mean that the two events happens one after another? Customer is observing a spike at CTR=0, would it results form a CTR=0 set low right after software set high?

Regards,

Hang.

  • Hi Hang,

The continuous software force always takes priority regardless of whether it happens before or after other action qualifier events. You may observe a spike in the output if an action qualifier event happens immediately before a continuous software force event.

To clarify, you're saying the TBCTR=0 event sets the output low and the continuous software force sets the output high? Are there any other action qualifier events that set the output high? Can you provide a screenshot of the spike?

    Thank you,

    Luke
