LAUNCHXL-F28P55X: F28P559

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28P55X
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Tool/software:

I just purchased a LAUNCHXL-F28P55X and I am having problems connecting to the board.  Device manager has been used to check and update the drivers and both the Ports and TI debug probes show up as they should.  Using xdsdfu -e shows a valid connection with the following response:

As soon as I issue xdsdfu -m the Port and TI debug disappear in the device manager listing.  This also happens with attempts using -f to flash firmware.  Reconnecting the USB the devices show back up in the device manager.

I am using an older Toshiba laptop with Windows 10.  I will try on my work laptop and see if it's still behaving the same.

I have also tried uniflash with successful connection and setting the jtag to 2 pin mode, this starts the session but attempts to do anything like read memory end up with request to update firmware which is unsuccessful.

Please help me launch my launchpad...It shouldn't be this HARD!

Thanks in advance, Bill
