LAUNCHXL-F280049C: Not able to update XDS110 board

Hi Team,

I am trying to debug board with example given in SDK but while trying to launch in debug+program mode through CCS(version12.8.0.00012), it gives error saying firmware need to update. When I click to update it gives error again saying "An attempt to connect to the XDS110 failed." with probable reasons given in image.

I tried to update firmware using XDSDFU also as per "XDS110SupportReadMe.pdf" but while running command "xdsdfu -f firmware_3.0.0.31.bin -r" it detaches from the driver.

Following is the directory of XDS110.

Can you help what could be the issue for not updating the firmware in XDS110 ?

We have tracked this down to an issue with the Windows driver installation in CCS 12.8.0. The easiest way to fix it would be to download and run this installer. The installer will reinstall the driver that is causing the issue.

A CCS update will be released very soon to fix the issue in the full install.
