Thanks for your reply. I already have this application note and applied the debug step given as "Check the target configuration file to make sure that the correct debug probe is selected" but not able to fix the problem. I have used a fresh LAUNCHXL-F28379D Development Kit and found the following difference between two cases (Screenshots of Device Manager window and Device window of my PC are attached for comparison). Does this mean that my faulty DSP is permanently damage or is there any scope of repairing it through any means so that it can works as intended.

So you're only having the issue on one board and you're using the same USB cable with both boards? 

You could try updating the firmware on the FTDI chip, but there is a possibility that it is damaged.

Yes Sir, I am having issue with one board. I was using it perfectly and suddenly when I repeated the debug of a CCS program it starts giving the mentioned error. I have used different (The respective cables provided in box) cables of both boards.

Yeah, I think you could try updating the firmware, otherwise it is very possible that the FTDI chip has been damaged.
