TMS320F280041C: Open Declaration points to declaration in file in closed project in same workspace

Tool/software:

I have a workspace where I have multiple projects. I have a consistent problem when I try to open a declaration it will show two targets. The first is the one I expect while the second is always the declaration in another project even when that project is closed within the workspace.

I've checked my include options and project references and see nothing that would point to the closed project.

How do I fix this?

I just noticed that the 2nd balloon got shifted. The lower balloon should point to the lower line in the Open Declaration window.

Hi Bruce,

Is the second entry still show up after you restarted CCS? This might be a caching issue in the workspace .metedata folder, you can try to rename the .metedata folder in your workspace to see if it help to clear up the removed project.

Today I'm not seeing the problem. I did close and reopen the workspace this AM for other reasons so maybe as you suspect its the metadata. If it happens again are there any negative effects to renaming that folder and should this be done with CCS closed or can it be done while its still open.

You need to close CCS first before renaming/deleting this folder.
