TMS320F28P550SJ: Issue with GPIO Output on TMS320F28P550SJ9 Using XDS110 DEBUG PROBE

Part Number: TMS320F28P550SJ
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Tool/software:

Hello,

We are using the TMS320F28P550SJ9 microcontroller (64-pin) and programming it with the XDS110 DEBUG PROBE. To get started with the microcontroller, we have been working with example code from the C2000Ware_5_03_00_00 package.

The process we've followed is as below:

  1. We compiled the example code without any errors.
  2. After debugging, there were no issues found.
  3. We proceeded to flash the code, and the DCSM Initialization completed successfully (screenshot attached).

However, despite successfully compiling and flashing the code, we are not seeing any output signal on the expected GPIO pins. We’ve tried testing with different sample codes, but the results remain the same — no output from the GPIO.

Could anyone suggest potential causes or troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue?

Thank you in advance for your help
