I have purchased LAUNCHXL-f28027f and DRV8305EVM for motor control solution. I have installed the MotorWare application as suggested in this thread:

The problem is that when I start the MotorWare, there not too much anything that I could do. The Devices and Topics menus are grayed out. How to carry on?
The BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM User’s Guide doesn't give too much help either. In chapter 3.3 bullet 5 it says:
"Enable the control algorithm and begin spinning the motor. The BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM BoosterPack combined with a compatible XL LaunchPad will provide a complete motor drive and control evaluation platform. With the Piccolo LAUNCHXL-F28027F LaunchPad you can take full advantage of TI’s InstaSPIN
-FOC sensorless control solution. To get started with InstaSPIN-FOC (www.ti.com/instaspin-foc) download and run the MotorWare software (www.ti.com/.../motorware), reviewing the LAUNCHXL and BOOSTXL resources."
The link http://www.ti.com/instaspin-foc doesn't actually work.
I have downloaded the MotorWare, but that doesn't seem to do anything. I can't see the menu on left as indicated in pictures on MotorWare page (see below).
