C2000WARE: DSP Library: Is it possible to use the F32 functions with FPU64 enabled?

I am working with a F2838xD device with FPU64 enabled. I want to use the FFT functions in my project, Is it possible to use the float32 variant of the library functions, having FPU64 enabled?

Setting up the library through Sysconfig does not allow that combination. As I understand it, FPU64 only extends the FPU32 instruction set and both sets of functions should work under FPU64, but I may be wrong.

Yes, I believe so in sysconfig, can you try changing the FPU Configuration under FFT section to FPU32?

I need the FPU64 for the control library. I enabled it for that module previously

Hello Agustin,

Thank you for the correction. Unfortauntely then there isn't a way to setup FFTs in syscfg with a different configuration. You can still though follow the instructions (question mark icon) from the FFT syscfg page and view the generataed source code c2000ware_libraries.h on how to exactly set up it manually.

I'll also file an internal request for an option to suppress the FPU errors if possible, but this would defintely take a while before it gets reflected in syscfg.

Please let me know what other things I can help with, I'm also happy to walk you through FFT if needed.
