Hello,

I am looking to run a PMSM motor using the TIDA-010956 reference design with a LAUNCHXL-F280039C board. However, I couldn't find a sensorless PMSM FOC code example in ControlSUITE, MotorControlSDK, or any related directories. Is there an example available elsewhere?

You can utilize the universal_motorcontrol_lab. It supports FAST and ESMO sensorless observers.

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your response. I'm kind of familiar with the universal_motorcontrol_lab, but it seems to be tailored for specific DRV evaluation boards like DRV8316, DRV8353, 3PHGAN, etc., and the TIDA-010956 reference design doesn't appear to be included. Does this mean I need to customize it and add the necessary settings for that board?

Yes, correct. See section 4 Building a Custom Board in the User's Guide I linked before. It explains how to migrate the project to new inverter hardware.
