TMS320F280049C: flashapi_ex2_sci_kernel CMD file issue

Tool/software:

I want to refer to Ti DSP280049 flash flashapi_ex2_sci_kernel example for LDFU, and I found the reference kernel all put in flash memory including flash API(as below), so my question is why are they all put in flash? as I know they should put in RAM for LDFU? How does it work?

Hi Xu,

They are not required to be placed in RAM. The .text you would want to reside in flash especially as that is where your main program code would reside upon a reset/restart. Which file do you see this being put in RAM for?
