Tool/software:

I'm currently working in TMS320F2800137 MCU.

There are few queries regarding memory management, whereas we are developing bootloader and UDS application code in the above mentioned MCU.

1.Will this MCU be suitable for Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) protocol application code and Bootloader development.?

2.In flash memory there are sectors available along with the respective address, in that will I be able to erase single sectors? or the whole sector will be erased.

Hi Prince,

1. This is something I require some more detail on, but for UDS it should be implemented in software for the device. Texas Instruments' Support - Simma Software has an example of UDS drivers for our devices. If your intention is to use/develop a CAN/DCAN bootloader to be used with this device, that will be possible.

2. For this device you will be able to erase necessary sectors for program load within the On-Chip Flash tool with CCS.
