Dear TI Team,

Currently we're designing the UPS system for our product, we're looking for any example code that are available to drive a simple buck converter.

Here are the specifications, Vin= 27V, Vout=24V, Current Rating:3-5A, we're looking to read ADC output and control it through DSP, a synchronous buck converter, which can be driven using DSP, PWM get controlled using DSP TMS320F28379D.

Even if it is a generic code, still it is ok, example to srarts with.

Hi Deep,

You can checkout the TIDM-DC-DC-BUCK reference design example. This is the premier buck converter reference design which features open and closed loop options for each voltage mode control and peak current mode control. Although the software is available for the F28004x device so you will have to port the code over manually

Thank you for your reply.

This example contain dependency on SFRA tool and other PID variation, I'm looking for example, where I can have just simple ADC reading on output side of converter and controlled the ePWM for the converter, instead of SFRA tool, which can be directly implemented.

Hi Deep,

You can actually disable the SFRA tool so that there is no SFRA injection, and Builds 1 and 2 are open-loop so there is no PID controller, only using ADC for sampling the voltages and currents in the converter. This should be sufficient to reference for a simple buck converter design
