Power Line Communication development board TMDSPLCKIT-V3

Hello all,

I have chosen to use TI PLC solutions. Hence I would like to order TMDSPLCKIT - V3. I would be ordering the control cards of the required processor. Please let me know what else do I have to order (like coupling circuit board and softwares required etc.) to develop a PLC system. Should i buy a starter kit of the MCs? ( I have not worked with C2000 series previously).

If you buy the TMDSPLCKIT-V3 kit, everything that is needed to get started with PLC is included. Two controlCARDs (F28069), two PLC baseboards (with PLC coupling built in), and the required connectors are all in the kit.

If you are doing more software development than just PLC, a F28069 Experimenter Kit may be useful. This will allow you to probe the MCU's pins pretty easily.

In addition, if you download the software for the TMDSPLCKIT-V3 (which can be found here) there is a complete bill of materials listing what is on the kit, both the controlCARD and baseboard. This should provide a good starting point, along with the F28069 Experimenter Kit that Brett mentioned.

Hi michael,

I went here http://www.ti.com/ww/en/smart_grid_solutions/smart_grid_plc.htm#anchor3 and it only seems like it's the Prime sofytware, PLC lite software etc. I downloaded the prime stuff but could not Find a BOM - Can you be more specific on what software to download if I want a BOM?
