Hello,

Are there any plans to add support for the TMS320C28346 DSP in CCS Theia? If so, what is the expected timeframe for availability?

Hello,

TMS320C28346 is already supported in current versions of CCS Theia. Debug and build support is available.

Please note that if you are referring to available examples in the new project wizard, that is driven by the availability in C2000Ware, not CCS.

I can't find TMS320C28346 in the list of "supported products and hardware" for CCS-Theia 1.5.1 here:

I got confirmation that the list is incomplete. The C28x devices are not listed and it is an oversight. It will be corrected.

I installed CCS Theia and did some tests. Creating a new project from the project wizard seems not to be possible tor C28x devices, as the device needs to be selected but the C28x is not in the list. Maybe this is what you mean, saying that C2000Ware doesn't support this devices. Is there a plan for supporting C28x devices in C2000Ware?

I tried the to import an existing project in the workspace. I'm able to build the project but I was not yet able to debug it. I will continue to do some investigation on it.

My previous comment is in regards to the list on the on the ti.com webpage. CCS Theia does support C28x devices from a device for build and debug.

This is a question for the C2000 experts. I believe the 28346 is an older device so it is unlikely.

I do see c2834x support in controlSUITE (the software package that predates C2000Ware). You may want to try importing the examples from there:
