TMS320F2800157-Q1: 2800157 WDPRECLKDIV and WDPS description

Hi experts,

Good day! I found that in 2800157 TRM there is no table that corresponds to WDPRECLKDIV to Pre-divider and WDPS to Prescaler.

But when I look at 280049 TRM, there are tables where WDPRECLKDIV corresponds to Pre-divider and WDPS to Prescaler.

So my customer has following questions:

1. Is the WDPRECLKDIV and WDPS corresponding value of 2800157 same with 280049?

2. Where is this correspondence described in the 2800157 TRM? Because according to the 280049 table, it is not simply power of 2.

Hi Kita,

Its the same as F28004x. There are no changes in watchdog module
You can get these defines from driverlib functions and verify the same if you would like.

Hi Prarthan,

It's confused to customer if customer uses F2800157 but need to check TRM 280049.

It's better to add this details in F2800157 TRM.
