Trouble with XCLKout setting in TMS320C28335

Hi all, I am facing some problems when I try to change the XCLKOUT of TMS320F28335. Acctually I just get an XCLKOUT of 75MHz no matter the settings I put on the XTIMCLK and CLKMODE bits of the XINTCNF2 register. I tried using the XCLKOUTDIV bit of the XCLK register but it seems that this register does not exit anymore in TMS320x2833x. I'm using the SYSCLKOUT of 150Mhz so normally this should work properly but it seems that I'm missing something. Thanks

Youssoufa,

The clocking option in F28335 is very flexible. Please find the OSC and PLL block, XCLKOUT generation block attached along this message. I would suggest you one way to configure PLL registers to generate CLKOUT = 150Mhz.

CLKIN = 30Mhz

PLLSTS[OSCOFF] = 0

PLLCR[DIV] = 0xA

PLLSTS[DIVSEL] = 2

XINTCNF2[XTIMCLK] = 0

XINTCNF2[CLKMODE] = 0

The method I suggested here is one way to get 150MHz CLKOUT. You should be able to explore other methods easily.
