TMS320F280039C: CCS connect error

Tool/software:

I lock the JTAG in 280039 device.

Then I try to connect this device by CCS, I input correct JTAG unlock key (I think), then test connection, result is succeeded.

But when I click connect button, error occured.Then I click Yes, connect fail, error as follow.

Also, the code in this device run normal, because it can response UDS request.

So, how can I connect this device with CCS?

Also, all the RAM and flash is protected by Zone1.

I think the part that you are missing is that you will still not be able to connect if the device is running a program from the secured memory. You will need to put the device in wait boot mode.

I connect the device when I put it in wait boot mode.

But I donot know the technical reason of it, could you provide some explanations?

Hi,

You can find a detailed explanation in the TRM for this device, but the main idea is that CPU will not allow a JTAG connection to be established if it is executing a program from the protected memory.
