Hi, I want to use F28388D to receive BISS position encoder data, it seems that i have to use "C2000 DesignDRIVE position manager BoosterPack plug-in module", is "C2000 DesignDRIVE position manager BoosterPack plug-in module" free? thanks

The boosterpack is $49 (https://www.ti.com/tool/BOOSTXL-POSMGR)

The boosterpack normally fits on a LaunchPad. But because the F28388x does not have a launchpad available, you could use a dock and use wires to connect the boosterpack.

The boosterpack supplies the RS-485 line drivers required to demonstrate the solution.

The TIDM-1010 design guide was recently updated (https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/tidue73).

The BiSS-C code for the F28P65x has been released into the C2000Ware Motor Control SDK. You will need to port it to the F28388x.

The BiSS-C code for the F28P65x has been released into the C2000Ware Motor Control SDK. You will need to port it to the F28388x.

The code is free - however you will need to obtain a license from iCHaus to develop BiSS-C products. This is mentioned in the updated documentation.
