Tool/software:

We want to monitor PWM output and COMPSTS[COMPHSTS] by using CMPSS_getStatus(CMPSS2_BASE) function.

When ramp generator and CMPx_HP signal is comparated at COMPH comparator, PWM output is updated according to CMPSS module configuration.

However, even when PWM output signal is updated normally, COMPSTS[COMPHSTS] is not changed.

So, we'd like to know about how to monitor COMPSTS[COMPHSTS].

Please check and we'll be looking forward to you guys' reply.

Plus, if you need some codes, I'll update it.

Hope you guys will be able to understood about our problems.

Hello,

Thanks for your patience.

You can route the CMPSS output through OUTPUT-XBAR to the pin, and monitor the pin to see if it goes high or low when the trip happens.

You can find an example in your c2000ware directory: \ti\c2000\C2000Ware_5_02_00_00\driverlib\f28003x\examples\cmpss

I want to monitor CMPSSSTS using GPIO pin with oscilloscope.

I'll explain what I want to do as example pseudo code below.

Is there any way to monitor GPIO pin when trip occurs by CMPSS comparation?

[Example pseudo code]

u16CompSts = CMPSS_getStatus(CMPSS2_BASE);

if(u16CompSts == High)

{

GPIO_writePin(GPIO23, High);

}

else

{

GPIO_writePin(GPIO23, Low);

}

You don't need this pseudo code. the output of cmpss can be routed to the GPIO through output-xbar. in the example you can find how it is configured.
