TMS320F2800137: Power down sequence issue

Part Number: TMS320F2800137

Tool/software:

Hi experts,

My customer is seeing 3.3V bounce back nad multiple XRSn triggered during power down. Is there any risk of device failure?

Yellow is 3V3, it bounced back at 2.43V. Green is XRSn

Below is a zoom-in image, there are two XRSn when 3V3 drop to BOR

Regards,

Hang

  • Hi,

Is there any update on this issue?

  • Hang,

There is no concern to device behavior.  what is happening is that as we power down and have initial reset, the threshold for the VDDIO is coming down to pre-boot levels.  Device will come out of reset briefly, BROM will re-trim the BOR and reset will get asserted, this will happen until VDDIO comes low enough.

The outcome, however, is that the device never exits the BROM, so no application code will be executed.

    Best,

    Matthew
