Hi champs,

I am asking this for our customer.

Is CPU (C28x) HWBIST available?

How do we tell if HWBIST is available from datasheet/TRM?

Without HWBIST, the user has to run C28_STL for functional safety like IEC61508/ISO26262/UL1998/IEC60730. Is it right?

Likewise, Is CPU (C28x) HWBIST available on F28003x?

    Wayne,

    No, HWBIST is not available on the F28P55x.  As you said, it would be mentioned in the DS, in the block diagram as well as other places.  

    Correct, user needs to use the C28_STL to test the core logic

    Finally, yes the F28003x does have HWBIST.
