TMS320F280039C: How to solve PMBUS lock when SCL keep High and SDA keep Low?

Correct here, customer used our PMBUS module, How to solve this PMBUS deadlock with SCL High and SDA Low. any others s/w workaround besides MCU reset? Thanks.

Customer feedback that PMBUS reset could not recover from when SCL keep High and SDA keep Low at some time, so they want to confirm that PMBUS reset whether release SDA from low to high? Please give us workaround solution besides MCU reset. Thanks.

There is a SOFTPRES20 Register in this device to reset the PMBUS module. This can be explored for bringing the bus out of stuck state. It can be used by software to reset and get out of the stuck state.

Please ask customer to try it and let us know.

You don't need to use PCLKCR20, which is related to disabling/enabling the clock. This register doesn't reset the values inside the registers; therefore, module may end up being in a random state. 

SOFTPRES20 is going to help the customer to reset the module.
