Hello,
Did you encounter any issues connecting to the device before attempting to program?
Thank you,
Luke
Hello,
I haven't encountered any issues connecting to the target. The same code works on other PCs with the same version of the CCS tool. However, the problem is specific to these PCs. Is there anything related to the PCs or the GEL files, since we are getting a GEL file error? We've observed the same problem on two PCs.
Thank you,
K T Prasanna.
Is XDS100v3 the correct debugger version, or are you using XDS100v2? I noticed your debug window shows XDS100v3. Perhaps the other PCs selected XDS100v2?
Thank you,
Luke
Yes, I am using the XDS100v3 with all the PCs. I believe the XDS100v3 is the correct debugger version because we have used the same XDS100v3 for all the other PCs with the same version of the CCS debugger.
In continuation to the above reply, We have observed the same issue with XDS100v2 also in those PCs.
Thank you,
K T Prasanna
Can you verify the GEL files on all PCs are correct? It could be a difference of the debugger drivers on the different PCs. Are you able to connect to the same device on some PCs but not others?
Thank you,
Luke
Hi Luke,
I have reviewed the GEL files, and they are correct. The code is loading onto the controller with GEL file errors. Additionally, the code runs on the controller after a power on reset; we have tested this with the LED blinking code.
However, the issue is that we are unable to debug the code on those PCs. If the problem is related to the debugger drivers, what is the solution?

K T Prasanna.
Hi Luke,
it's an emergency, could you please respond ASAP.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Do you see this same issue on the latest CCS version? From the CCS icon in your screenshot it looks like you are using a very old version of CCS. Perhaps you will not see this issue on any PC with the latest CCS version.
Thank you,
Luke
