I want to write a Bootloader using CAN interface for 49C. And I also need an example application code for the same. Could you give me the step-by-step process on how to implement it.

Hi Shifali,

Please see the flash_ex4_can_flash_kernel and flash_ex5_dcan_flash_kernel examples (both located at C2000WARE/driverlib/f28003x/examples/flash) and the CAN and DCAN host programmers (located at C2000WARE/utilities/flash_programmers) for a reference implementation.

CAN Flash Programming of C2000 Microcontrollers should also be a useful reference for you.

Hi,

I started referring to boot_ex2_customBootConfig project and changed the BMSP0,1,2 values for CAN boot along with EMU_BOOTDEF_LOW and EMU_BOOTDEF_HIGH. I took LED blink code as my application code. Now I have to configure the memory mapping for it.

Could you help me with the same.

I can't figure out the memory mapping for to jump from bootloader to application code. Need help with the same. Is there any document I can refer to.

Shifali,

To transition from the booloader to the application code, you just need to jump to the codestart section of the application (defined in your linker CMD file).
