Checksum mismatch problem

Hi

We are using CCS V3.3 and the processor is F28335. We are calculating the checksum in our code which is not matching with the checksum calculated by Internal FLASH programmer.  Could you please tell why this problem occurs?

Also, is there any utility provided by TI for calculating CRC instead of checksum for the OUT file.

    Jaiganesh,

    There are many different checksum algorithms available. The reason for the difference in calculated checksum could well be the difference in the algorithms. So, I wouldn't worry about it.

    As of now, TI doesn't have provide any utility that calculates CRC. But, I am sure there should be a lot readymade CRC algo' available online.
