Greetings,

I am currently looking to develop a battery management system (BMS) for a ~600V architecture battery pack containing around 560 cylindrical cells. I am using multiple TI BQ79616 to monitor the cell properties, and then using the TI BQ79600 as a communication interface to a microcontroller. Are there any C2000 TI Launchpads that would fit my use case? I want to use it as a battery pack monitor, by managing state estimation, faults and data transfer to other systems.

Is there also any documentation or training materials that would help me in the development of the full system?

Is there a specific reason you are targeting C2000 for this application? What are the requirements (e.g. flash size, RAM, etc)? This would help narrow down possibilities in terms of device suggestions. Hi Allison,

We chose the C2000 specifically for its integration with Simulink/MATLAB. Previously, we would use a Hercules TMS570LS12x LaunchPad, but we wanted to see if the C2000 chipset would make our programming easier. We are looking for higher RAM and flash size. I will take a look at the table you provided, thank you!
