TMS320F28335: C2000 microcontrollers forum

Part Number: TMS320F28335

Tool/software:

TI CCS support,

I try to connect to my XDS560v2-USB and although the power is on the board (evident with LED's light), the controller will not connect:

I am getting error connecting to the target.  Detecting a power loss and the user must turn on power.

Power is on evidenced by LEDs.

Could it be that the FPGA is already programmed or reconfigured since this was a previously programmed card?

Do I need to have my CCS licensed since I'm just programming and never needed a license on v6 CCS?

Where do I specify the hex file to load?

  • Hi Ralph,

What does your hardware look like that you are connecting to? Is it one of our EVMs or is it a custom board?

If using a custom board, can you provide a schematic of JTAG header onboard so I can verify the hardware pinout. As well, are you isolating the debug signals?

For the .ccxml file, are you creating a custom Target Configuration file or are you using one from the SDK?

    Regards,

    Peter
