Hi Champs,

In TIDM-02010 user's guide, there's "Figure 3-38. Fan Motor Output Efficiency Using FAST or eSMO Control Technique at Different Speed with Constant Load"

but it does not have Compressor Motor Output Efficiency Using FAST or eSMO Control Technique at Different Speed with Constant Load. could you give my customer that data also?

If they get that data and if FAST has better efficiency, then they need to design voltage sensing line.

    Hi Ted,

    We don't have that data specifically for compressor motor. Compressor motor load will not be constant in a real system either, it changes during the 360 degree rotation.

    I still think FAST should offer an efficiency improvement over eSMO. Can the Fan data be used to convey this to your customer?
