XRS reset function

Hi all,

We are working of F28335 DSP. What would be the content of SARAM when DSP reset occurs by XRS input. Will the data be retained as in the case internal watchdog reset or the data will be lost like power-on reset?

Hi,

the internal ram is not initialized at power up. You will get unknown data. If you get a reset, the data should remain in the ram. Hence, you have to care about a proper initialization yourself.

As long as the DSP is powered up, the contents of the internal RAM doesn't change when XRSn is pulled low like internal watchdog reset.
