Hi team,

I'm using the F29H85X-SOM-EVM, connected to the HSEC180ADAPEVM, connected to the TMDSHSECDOCK.

I am running the adc_ex2_soc_epwm example.

When I run the example with SOC0 channel set to single-ended, ADCIN0, and connect ANA 9 of the TMDSHSECDOCK to 3.3 V I get the correct value in the watch expression window, which means the code is working.

I then change the channel to channel 6 in sysconfig, rebuild and load the project. I connected ANA 25 of the board to 3.3V.

I get unknown data on the input side. Am I using the wrong pin, or is there some other setting that I need to change to get ADC channel 6 to produce the correct data?

Hi Nishika,

The wrong mapping was uploaded in the design files. Please refer to the schematics on rev A. The correct mapping for A6 is ANA15.

This will be corrected in the web.

Hi Joseph, the Schematic F29H85X-SOM-EVM Schematic (Rev. A) for the SOM shows MCU_ADCIN_A6 at J1B.120. This is also shown in design files for MCU144E1(002) which is the board that I have.

It looks like the HSEC180ADAPEVM is incorrect because

1) in the Online User Guide, J1B.120 maps to pin 25

2) but in the schematic of the design files J1B.120 maps to pin 15

Is that something we can fix at least in the online user guide of the HSEC180ADAPEVM user guide?

You are correct. The pinout give in the online user guide is not correct. We will get that corrected. For now, please refer to the F29 + HSEC adapter pinout files attached here.
