SYSCONFIG: ADC SOC trigger by peripheral name (new feature request ?)

Part Number: SYSCONFIG

Tool/software:

Hi,

I mostly use ADC SOC triggered by ePWMs. Currently, SOC triggers are declared by ePWM number (ie ePWM3 SOC A for instance).

However, one of the great strenghts of Sysconfig is to give names to peripherals and reference them by name rather by actual physical identifier, in order to help portability.

Would it be possible to add this feature to the relationship between peripherals ? In this specific instance, be able to trigger the ADC SOC by referencing the ePWM name (ie myEPWM0 SOC A for instance, using the default name for ePWM peripherals). This would increase portability.

The obvious use case is the ability to switch more easily between a controlcard config and a custom board config.

If it is difficult to add to the HMI, it would still be nice if it was possible by editing directly the sysconfig file with a regular notepad.

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,

Adrien
