TMS320F28069F: About InstaSPIN fast angle estimation error

Part Number: TMS320F28069F

Tool/software:

I have made tens of thousands of products using InstaSPIN fast. I am currently encountering many motors that have failed to estimate angles using InstaSPIN fast. The motor ID cannot recognize the motor parameters. I can only use ESMO to estimate angles and velocities, which is very troublesome. Is there any way to make the fast algorithm adapt to more motors?
Can the fast algorithm be made public to make it more powerful.

  • If the motor and hardware boards don't have significant variations, seems like there is no the issue you mentioned. The issue should be from the motor and hardware boards you used. You need to make sure that the hardware boards have good current and voltage sensing signals for the estimator.
